For a woman who is working in a male-dominated environment, what exactly does it take to thrive and succeed? In this interview series, we are talking to successful women who work in a Male-Dominated Industry who can share their stories and experiences about navigating work and life as strong women in a male-dominated industry. As a part of this series, we had the distinct pleasure of interviewing Chely Martinez.

Chely Martinez joined Platinum Parking in 2017 after nearly two decades of work in the public sector. She was hired as a Facility Manager, but quickly earned promotion and currently serves as District Manager in Houston, Texas, where she is responsible for managing the day-to-day success of parking operations in the city’s Medical Center and Museum District. Founded in 2000, Platinum Parking is a full-service parking management and consultation company that operations more than 300 facilities and more than 100,000 parking spaces in the U.S.
